FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know exactly what I want before we start?
No need to have all the answers upfront. I guide you through the process, helping clarify your needs as we go. Your input and vision matter, but I’m here to provide direction and reduce overwhelm.

How involved do I need to be?
However much you want!
Some clients prefer to be hands-off and trust me to manage the details.
Others like to stay involved in decisions and content. We’ll find the right balance that works for you.

Do you work with small teams or nonprofits?
Absolutely. Many of my clients have limited staff or are mission-driven organizations. I understand the unique challenges and constraints you face, and I’m experienced in working within those dynamics.

How do projects start?
Usually with a conversation to understand your goals, challenges, and current situation. From there, I provide a clear plan and timeline before any work begins. Transparency and mutual understanding are key.

Are you the least expensive option?
No. Quality and guidance come at a cost. If you’re looking for the cheapest, template-based, DIY approach, I’m probably not the right fit. But if you want steady support and thoughtful design, we’ll get along well.

Do you just build what I ask for?
Not exactly. I bring professional judgment to every project. That means I might suggest changes or improvements to help your site work better for your goals. It’s a collaborative process.

What about ongoing help after launch?
I offer ongoing support and maintenance packages, but you’re never locked in. We can tailor the level of help based on your needs and budget.

Do you take rush or last-minute projects?
I prefer planned work to ensure quality and reduce stress. If you have an urgent need, let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate — but it usually comes with a premium and isn’t guaranteed.

How do I know if we’re a good fit?
If you value calm, personal guidance, and are willing to invest in quality work with realistic timelines, we’re likely a good match. If you want quick fixes or bargain pricing, probably not.
